Coffee Commissary LLC and Affiliates, and this Privacy Policy describes how we and our affiliates (referred to as “Coffee Commissary,” “we,” or “our” as applicable) collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process information about you. This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect when you use or access our websites, mobile applications, and online services (collectively the “Services”) that display or link to this Privacy Policy, or when you otherwise interact with us.
In some cases, we may provide different or additional policies or notices about our information practices, in which case those notices will supplement or replace the disclosures in this Privacy Policy. For instance, depending on where you reside, our “Notice at Collection and U.S. State Privacy Notice” may apply in addition to this Privacy Policy. Information We Collect
We collect various types of data about you, as described below.
Contact and account information. We collect information when you make a purchase or create an account or profile with us, including your name, address, phone number, email address, username, password, purchase history and any other information you choose to provide.
Interests and demographic information. In order to better understand our customers and offer products and services of interest to you, we may collect information from or about you that indicates your interests or demographic information. Examples may include geographic location, favorite products, or transactional information about the product or services that you purchase.
Payment information. If you make a purchase, we work with a third-party payment processor to collect and process your billing address and payment method information.
Customer service and feedback. We may collect information from you when you request customer support or information from us, provide feedback or reviews about your experience with us or our products, or otherwise communicate with or contact us. If you contact customer service through our chat feature or by phone, we may monitor and retain those conversations, including for training purposes.
Social media account information. If you link a third-party social media account with your Coffee Commissary account, we may collect information from the social media platform, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by the platform.
Consumer-Generated Content. We may collect content that you create and then share with us on third-party social networks or through our Services. Examples include photos, videos, personal stories, or other similar media or content. Where permitted, we collect and publish consumer-generated content in connection with a variety of activities, including contests and other promotions, online community features, consumer engagement, and third-party social networking.
Location information. We may collect or infer information about your location based on your zip code, postal code, or IP address.
Device and usage information. We collect information about the device you use to access our Services, including technical information about your device and network, such as hardware model, operating system version, browser, mobile carrier, device identifiers, and IP address. We also collect information about your activity on our Services and your interactions with our ads and communications, such as the routes by which you access our Services along with access dates and times, browsing behavior such as pages viewed, links clicked, information about your activity on a specific page, such as mouse movements and keystrokes, and items placed in your cart or added to your wish list.
How We Collect Information
There are several ways we may obtain information about you. Coffee Commissary collects information from you (a) that you provide directly to, (b) that we collect automatically when you use our Services, and (c) that we receive from other sources.
We collect information from you directly. We collect information when you use our Services or otherwise interact with us. This includes when you place an order online or at Coffee Commissary cafes, provide a review, sign up for marketing communications, and register for an account with us. We may collect information when you join a loyalty program or enter a promotion or contest, or if you participate in any of our surveys.
We collect information automatically. We automatically collect information about your interactions with our Services and our marketing communications, using cookies, pixels, session replay, and similar technologies. We use these technologies to improve our Services and our marketing communications, provide certain functionality, analyze use of our Services and enhance your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits. They also help us understand information like access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services. We get information about you from other sources. We may receive information about you from our business partners and affiliates. We may also acquire information from other sources, such as when you place an online order through a third-party and to help us maintain the accuracy of the information we collect, personalize your experience with the Services, target our communications so that we can inform you of products and services or other offers that may be of interest to you, measure ad quality and responses, and for internal business analysis or other business purposes. We may also receive information about you from our “tell-a-friend” program, and friends who want to send you a product.
Use Of Information
We may use the information that we collect from and about you for a variety of business purposes, as follows:

For example, we may combine information you provide to us and information we automatically collect through our Services, as well as information collected offline, across other computers or devices that you may use, and from third party sources

Targeted Advertising And Analytics
We engage others to provide analytics, serve advertisements, and perform related services across the web and in mobile apps. These entities may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, SDKs, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites and mobile apps, including your device identifiers, IP address, web browser and mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in mobile apps, links clicked, order information, items added to your cart, and conversion information. This information is used to deliver advertising targeted to you on other companies’ sites and mobile apps, understand effectiveness of this advertising, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand your activity. Some of our advertising partners also enable us to translate your email address or phone number into an identifier that can't be used to identify you personally. Our advertising partners then use that unique identifier to show ads that are more relevant to you across the web and in mobile apps.
You can opt-out of ad targeting via cookies and similar technologies on our websites by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices ” link in the footer of our website. Your opt-out choice will be linked to your browser only; therefore, you will need to renew your opt-out choice if you visit our website from a new device or browser, or if you clear your browser’s cookies. From within our app, you can opt-out by navigating to the Privacy Information section under your account. You can also learn more about interest-based ads, or opt-out of having your web browsing information used for behavioral advertising purposes by companies that participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance, by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.
Disclosure Of Information
We disclose information about you as described in the Targeted Advertising and Analytics section and in the following ways:
We disclose information within our family of companies. We may disclose information with the Coffee Commissary family companies, which includes all direct and indirect subsidiaries of parent company Coffee Commissary and any future related companies.
We disclose information to our vendors and service providers. We make personal information available to our vendors, service providers, contractors and consultants who perform services on our behalf, such as companies that assist us with web hosting, shipping and delivery, payment processing, financing, fraud prevention, customer service, data enrichment, analytics and marketing.
We disclose information to other users and the public. If you provide a product review or otherwise post content on the Services, other users of the Services will be able to see this information.
We disclose information as part of corporate transactions. We may disclose personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, certain corporate transactions, including a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.
We disclose information if we think we have to in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. For example, we may disclose information in response to a court order or subpoena. We will disclose information if a government agency or regulatory body requests it and we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process. We maintain and use this information only in a de-identified fashion and will not attempt to re-identify such information, except as permitted by law.
We disclose information as permitted by law and for other reasons we may describe to you, including when we have your consent or you intentionally direct us to make personal information available to third parties.
Third Party Sites And Content
The Services may have links to third-party websites, which may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not responsible for the practices of these sites, nor does our Privacy Policy apply to other sites. We have no control over the information that is collected, stored, or used by third party sites, so please read each site’s privacy policy carefully.
Your Choices
Account Information. You can access, correct, or delete certain information stored within your online account by logging into your account at any time.
Location Information. When you first launch our mobile apps, you may be asked to consent to the app’s collection of precise location information. If you initially consent to our collection of such location information, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, our mobile apps, or certain features, may no longer function properly.
Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in this Privacy Policy. You can usually adjust your browser settings to remove or reject browser cookies. You can also adjust certain settings for cookies and similar technologies by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link found in the footer of our website and following the instructions in the pop-up window, or by navigating to settings and clicking “Privacy” from within the Coffee Commissary app. Please note that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the functionality of our Services.
Communication preferences. You may opt-out of receiving text messages or promotional emails from us at any time. To opt out of text messages, please send a reply text that says ‘STOP’. To opt out of promotional emails, please follow the unsubscribe instructions in those communications. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account, or orders.
Children
The Services where this Privacy Policy appears are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child has given us information, please contact us.
Security Measures And Location Of Information
We use standard security measures. While we make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, the Internet is not 100% secure. We cannot promise that your use of our Services will be completely safe. We encourage you to use caution, and not to share or reuse passwords.
Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries. Coffee Commissary is based in the United States. You understand that by interacting with us your information will be processed and stored in the US. The laws of the US may not provide the same protections as the laws in your country.

We do not sell, share or engage in targeted advertising using personal information about consumers we know to be under the age of 18.

Your Privacy Rights
Opting Out of Sales, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising. Some of the activities described above and in our Privacy Policy may be considered “sales” or “sharing” of your personal information or use of your information for “targeted advertising.” You can opt-out of ad targeting through
cookies and similar technologies on our website by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” button link found in the footer of our website and following the instructions in the pop-up window. You will need to renew your opt-out choice if you use a different browser or device to visit our sites, or if you clear your cookies. From within our app, you can opt-out by navigating to the Privacy Information section under your account.
Depending on where you reside, you can also opt out by visiting our Services with a legally recognized universal choice signal enables, such as the Global Privacy Control.
Access, Correction, and Deletion. You have the right to (1) request to know more about and access your personal information, including in a portable format, (2) request deletion of your personal information, and (3) request correction of inaccurate personal information. Individuals in Minnesota and Oregon also have the right to request a list of third parties to whom we
disclosed your personal information or any personal information. To request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, you may submit this webform or contact Customer Service at (510)- 661-3510. We may verify your request by asking you to provide information related to your recent interactions with us, such as your name, email address, or phone number. You can also access, correct, or delete certain information stored within your online
account at any time by logging into your online account.
Nondiscrimination. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
Authorized Agents. If you’re an authorized agent seeking to make a request to opt out of sales, sharing, or targeted advertising on behalf of a consumer, please fill out this webform .
If you reside in California, you may also designate an authorized agent to submit an access, deletion, or correction request on your behalf. We may ask authorized agents to submit proof of their authority to make a request, such as a valid power of attorney or proof that they have signed permission from the consumer who is the subject of the request. In some cases, we may be required to contact the individual who is the subject of the request to verify his or her own identity or confirm the authorized agent has permission to submit the request. Notice of Financial Incentives
We offer various financial incentives. For example, we may provide discounts, rewards, exclusive offers, or other benefits to customers who sign up to the Coffee Commissary mobile app. These offerings may constitute “financial incentives” or “bona fide loyalty programs” under certain state privacy laws (for simplicity, we refer to these collectively as “financial incentives”). If you decide to participate in a financial incentive, we collect personal information from you,
such as identifiers (like your email address and phone number), commercial information (like your purchase history), and inferences (like your favorite products and preferences). We disclose this information to our service providers, contractors, and consultants who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, product fulfillment, marketing, database management, analytics and customer service.
You can opt into a financial incentive by following the sign-up or participation instructions we provide. You can withdraw from our financial incentives at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the applicable program’s terms and conditions and promotional emails.
Please note that if you request that we delete personal data that is essential to providing you with the financial incentive, we will not be able to provide you with the benefits of that program. For example, if you ask us to delete your email address, we will no longer be able to email you discounts or other exclusive offers or benefits. In some cases, we may provide additional terms and conditions when you sign up to participate in a financial incentive. The value of your personal information is reasonably related to the value of the offer or discount presented to you.
